The biggest stage in EVA's competitive year opens on July 12 at EVA Paris Est. EVA Summit Stage 1 brings together 16 teams from the local leagues for a single, brutal day of group play, under a fitting motto: legends are forged in ice.

Two days out, the seeding is set. Here is everything you need to know before the first whistle.

What's at stake

Stage 1 is a pure filter. The 16 teams are split into four groups of four, and only the top two of each group advance to Stage 2 — eight teams live, eight teams out, decided in one day. There is no soft landing and no second chance: finish third in your group and your Summit is over before the sun sets.

The groups

Group A Group B Group C Group D
Hobservateur Lunatics Kalazar TSK
Fade Lycans Majin Esport Galactiques
P2P Ines Return Eterial Gaming
Thunder Volkan Gaming Rocket Hunty Esports

Each team plays the other three in its group, so every group resolves over three series per side. No byes, no filler — every match matters for a top-two spot.

The format

  • Best-of-3 (BO3) series throughout the group stage.
  • 3 points for a win, 0 for a loss.
  • Ties are broken on map differential; if that still can't separate teams, a BO5 playoff is played on the same day to settle who advances.

It is a format built for a single, decisive day — no room to warm up, no bad round you can quietly forget. Come out cold and you go home.

Maps and modes

Stage 1 runs on After-H Battle Arena across two modes: Domination (10 minutes max) and Hardpoint (12 minutes max). The Domination pool spans nine maps — Ceres, Silva, Artefact, Polaris, The Cliff, Helios Station, Atlantis, Engine and Horizon — so map bans and comfort picks will shape how each series is drawn up.
